QOTD - what is the one moment that stands out the most to you from your wedding day?

For me I would think it will be the moment the church doors open up and i see FH for the first time

when we dancing 'our first dance' and said to my DH look at everyone that is here for us today, and we both looks around the room and just saw everyone standing smiling and soo happy...it felt SOOOOOO good!

hmmmmm good question , we were taking pictures and fh and I had a moment alone for about 2 minutes and he gave me the biggest bear hug, it was awesome, we were both soo happy listening to all our friends laugh ...
I dont know why I remember it but it just stands out

Once we left the church we were in our rolls royce and it was just so nice to have alone time just to reflect that we were married and just talk about our mornings it was really touching. Also ppl were honking their horns and waving at us which was really cool as well.

Well this is really fresh in my mind LOL.

Number one is opening up the doors when we walked in...FH didn't react like at all at first, I think he was stunned. Slowly he started to smile, and when I first got to him he said WOW. Haha.

The second moment is horrible. During our first dance we had a spin and dip sequence, and I'm not blessed upstairs, so even with double cups I felt like my dress was falling down a bit on top, and when I did my first spin out with reckless abandon I felt like I had a wardrobe malfunction....I spun in REALLY quickly and looked down and think I was back in place, but I'm like 99% sure my video is going to reveal a memorable moment Luckily I spun in the direction of DH's family that time, not in the direction of like my boss

For me it was our last dance of the night. We were both looking into eachothers' eyes and reflecting on the day in our heads and it was clear how much love we had for each other. It was probably one of the best moments of my life.

Tie between the opening the doors/walking down the aisle and our spotlight dance together. Both for the same reason though, those were the two times that although we were surrounded by a ton of people it felt like we were the only two in the room. The whole walk down the aisle our eyes were just locked and I had the biggest smile that I just could not get off my face. DH was actually crying and when I finally made it up there he called me a jerk for looking so beautiful it made him cry. And when we did the second dance (our spotlight dance) all the stress was gone. We had cut the cake, tossed the bo-k, thrown the garter and everything else that we had to do. That moment was for us.

For me it was during a slow dance, not our first dance. We had just sat down at our sweetheart table for a moment, and 'I'll Be' by Edwin McCain came on. I love that song! Wasn't even a must play song! We both looked at each other and went out onto the dance floor. We danced so close, and it literally felt like there was not another person or couple on the dance floor or the entire room. When I looked back on our video I saw there were so many people on the dance floor with us! It was just such a special moment where we were in our own place, our own zone. It was amazing.

after we were pronounced and we walked back into the lobby i looked at dh and he was crying and just sooo happy. that was probably my favorite moment.

Definitely walking down the aisle to DH was surreal....

I would have to say the moment that sticks out is after the church we got into the Rolls ROyce and DH and I were smooching (it was pouring rain outside which gave us a little alone time), and I told him that the zipper on my my mom's dress broke as we were getting ready, and he says, 'Oh yeah? You know what we went through? Claudia's (DH's cousin) dog ate the cat!!!


I know thats a little grotesque and morbid but the way he said it was soo funny.
