Hi, my wedding is May 1, 2010 and we booked Oct. 2008, about a year and a half before, and there were plenty of openings still in LI catering halls for the spring of 2010. Just wanted to let you know that you could still probably get your choice of place. Did you check out Sandcastle Caterers, Chateau Briand, Jericho Terrace, or Fox Hollow? Those places (I hear) are good with working on a budget.

I don't know what your budget is but we loved Chateau Briand. Westbury Manor and Jericho Terrace were also really pretty.

You have LOTS of time! I booked an planned everything a year in advance. Try the wintergarden at Fox Hollow. My minum is 110 for a Friday night.

You should look into Island Hills Country Club in Sayville. I'm having my wedding there and the price was awesome!
