Re: Help
Hi Im not sure when you have to start growing it out, I would think now cause I think the hair has to be a certain length for them to wax, I had my bikini done years ago it gave me a terrible rash and kinda hurt. I would call the place and ask them too just to be sure. Hope this helps.

Re: Help
start now!
you want to have the hair long enough so the wax can stick and catch it.
ETA: if you are not used to waxing i would forgo the underarms...

Re: Help
You may want to get it done a little earlier before the wedding if you have never done it before!! You may be a little red and puffy for a day or so, and that's the last thing you want to be freaking out about b4 the wedding!! Can you do it on Monday or Tuesday??
I have only had bikini waxes - the infamous brazilian - and it hurts like hell!!!! The first time I got it done I was swollen for two days...Gross but true...My FH said it looked angry!!! haha

i would do the legs first and then the bikini just so you get used to it. i would say not to wax at all before the big day if you were going to get in places that show because you never know how your skin is going to react to it... i have never done the underarms because it just seems like such a biatch...

Re: Help
Also, and I don't mean to scare anyone, be careful of the products they apply afterwards. FH was into wrestling and got a few areas waxed. They put this 'after waxing' antibacterial lotion on him and it literally caused a huge reaction on his skin. It looked like the skin was actually burnt. It took over a month to get better and he still has scars. It wasn't from the wax because I had gotten waxed right before him at the same place...it wasn't any hotter than usual and he was waxed before. I would definitly leave some time before the wedding because you don't know how your skin will react.
