have you try any of the LIwedding vendors or maybe try a hair salon that nearby you that can help you!

try jewelrystylist.com for low cost, nice stuff.

You can check Ulta in Patchogue, I think it is pretty inexpensive.

Most bridal salons usually also sell jewelry.

Where do you live and where will you be staying on the day of the wedding?

Have you tried contacting hairstylists and they've turned you done already?

You should DEFINATELY contact Robert James Salon and Spa in Riverhead. Lisa does my hair and Tina for my makeup and they are both OUTSTANDING and everyone looked perfect all day! They will even come to you.

As for jewelry, let me know if you are still looking and I can FM you some vendors that will definately be able to assist you.

I would try a LIW vendor- also for jewelry I would try stores like Macy's, JC Penny, Bloomingdales, etc.

They sometimes have really good buys on jewelry

Definitely try the department stores for jewelry, especially during sales and when you can use coupons.
Monet, Nadri, 1928 are all brands that have nice costume jewelry.

Do you have a normal hair stylist? Have you checked to see if he/she was available, or if there was someone else from that same salon to do your hair. If you are needing someone quick, someone you 'know' may be more helpful and go out of their way for you.

As far as wedding accessories--I would say use the KISS theory (Keep it simple, silly) especially if your dress is very elaborate. Do any of the women in your life have a string of pearls you could borrow (always a classic) or any other necklaces you could wear for the day? A lot of girls buy new, but I think it would be very meaninful to wear, like, your Grandma's necklace or the necklace your mom wore on her wedding day. And if you insist on buying new, you could also check out a TJ Maxx or Marshalls--some of their jewerly is very nice and you can get stuff that is normally super expensive for not as much. And since it's hit or miss--you won't waste a lot of time trying something about which you are iffy. HTHs!

Top Cuts Salon in Bethpage, on Hempstead Tpke. Ask for Chris the owner (there is another Chris). She's been doing my hair for 10 years and has done it for a few weddings. She is doing mine for my wedding too. She's great and very affordable!
