HELP! 19 days to go.... (what are you doing?)

and I haven't thought of getting a money bag. Anyone not having one or do I need one? I have a bird cage that my mother gave me and I plan on using it, but when I 'make my rounds', should I have a money bag also or will people know to put the envelopes into the cage?

We ended up renting a bird cage at the last minute, and it was kept behind my husband and I. We never had to make rounds... everyone came up to us and gave us an envelope and to congratulate us throughout the whole night, mainly around midnight when the reception ended. (Everyone stayed until the end!!!) My MIL made a money bag, but the only time we used it, was when we emptied the bird cage so we can bring the envelopes with us to the hotel room.

I think the birdcage is enough.

I have a money bag but I'm not going to walk around with it. I feel like that's too obvious that I'm looking for my gifts!! LOL

I'm having someone at my family table hold onto the bag for me and I'll drop the cards off to her when I collect a few.

Thanks ladies.... I too felt like the walking around with the money bag made it seem like you are expecting gifts. Glad to hear I'm not the only one!

I didn't get a money bag because I really didn't think about where I was keeping the envelopes. At the last minutes CB had those really nice mailboxes on a stand that they lent me so everybody can drop their envelopes. I suggest to get something to keep the envelopes in.
