I just put my invitations together, sealed and everything. The problem is I forgot to put the stamp on the Response Envelope, HOW BAD IS THAT.... I have tried to steam open the envelopes with no luck. Please tell me what you think, is it really bad to just send them. I had the envelopes done by a professional callagrapher and everything. Help what does everyone think. I'm so upset about this.

Re: HELP
to be honest there is nothing you can do now so just send them and don't worry about it...
Unless you have enough time and money to get them re-done, which i think it not really necessary

Re: HELP
I would just let it go. If you talk to anyone who receives your invitation, play it off by saying 'Oh I had a momentary lapse and forgot to put the stamps on the response card.' Planning a wedding is very stressful and sometimes we make mistakes. Don't be hard on yourself.

Re: HELP
I agree. It is too late now to worry about it. Just send them out as is and try not to think about it.

Just send them, there is nothing you can do about it now. Everybody makes mistakes, people will understand. Maybe as a little joke attach a stamp to your favors!!

Don't stress, just send them. Its happened to me before- $.37 won't break anyone. I promise! As a little joke, you can put a stamp in everyone's favor

Re: HELP
I think thats a cute idea! Add a stamp to the favor LOL Dont worry about it. Some people probably wont even think twice about sticking their own stamp on it :)

Re: HELP
I wouldn't worry about it all! What is done is done. Be happy you have invitations checked off your to do list and forget about the stamps!

Re: HELP
This recently happened to someone here as well (I forget who) and all she did was mail a short funny note and enclosed the stamp that she forgot. Of course, this cost .37 to mail plus the enclosure of .37 but it made her feel better. I wouldn't attach a stamp to your favor since I don't think everyone will 'get it'.
Don't stress!

Re: HELP
I Agree with not worrying about it and sending it out, However, you might have an issue with people putting it in the mail with no stamp on them and assuming there is one. Not sure what the post office would do if there is no return address...we got a lot of our responses without one and then i don't know if they will deliver it to your address and make you pay. You might want to call the PO about this.
Don't sweat it - in the end everyone has to call people up who didn't RSVP and most people will check for a stamp.

Send them out! Don't worry about missing the stamp... If anyone notices, they will think nothing of it.

Re: HELP
I agree not to worry about it, but I know if it was ME, I would obsess endlessly over it. I would say if you feel you will stress over this, type a quick ' Im sorry, Im stressed note' on the pc, and put a stamp in the envelope..it may take an hour or two of your time, but it would eliminate stress. If you think thats too much work, then seriously DONT worry about it. Its not that huge a deal at ALL!
