I agree! I took several breaks since we had such a long engagement and after the holidays I will be in full force wedding planning!

Re: HELP

You have to delegate stuff to people that are really interested in helping, even if its outside of the bridal party.

Believe it or not, my secretary loves talking about my wedding!!! She's in charge of coming up with favor ideas and she rocks!

I asked some other people I work with to come up with some really great song ideas for all of the dances and other songs to have the DJ play. They've been downloading like lunatics ever since.

My MOH is in charge of picking the BMS dress.

My sister's friend actually went to some reception halls and pretended that she was getting married on my date to get quotes when I could not make it out to all of them !!!!!

My SIL wants to address the envelopes so I took her up on the offer. She sent me a wedding guest list on a spreadsheet that she started for me with a lot of the addresses that I need. Imagine that?

Let people help you!! There are so many people that love this kind of stuff but they may not be the obvious choices. You cannot plan this wedding, work a full time job and stay sane without some help. Good Luck!

Re: HELP

First off, this website will really help. Also, the beginning of the planning (booking all the vendors) is the most stressful part. You have a lot of time. So, book your vendors and then chill out and do the other stuff little by little. Good luck!

Re: HELP

Pick one day per week that you don't do anything wedding-related. It helps, I swear!
