On issue one: there is no excuse and they should (and IM sure will) correct it without argument.

On issue two: Perhaps the other table interviews were not very interesting and thats why they didn't include it. If people didn't have anything to say but 'congratulations and good luck' x 30 people, they may have cut it out for artistic reasons. Speak to them and see what they say.

First off sweetie, Calm down.. I don't know much about this whole editing stuff, but the unedited should still be in his possession, no?? I would call him up and meet with him rather than speak to him by telephone.. Tell him EXACTLY what you just wrote.. do you have copies of what you filled out by any chance?? if so bring that.. Print out this thread and you can use it as a cheat sheet, so you make sure your argument has been made and don't leave anything out....

Ok, you have every right to be upset. I would try to calm down first and then call him up and calmly voice what's wrong with the video. It shouldn't be a problem. You wrote exactly what you wanted and they should be able to correct it for you. Good luck.

Tammy: I agree with Stef and Marcella. Tell them that you are very upset and cannot understand why they didn't follow your simple instructions. Make your case
Also, my FH is a commercial editor and they can easily change stuff. My FH does it all the time, when his clients want things differently.

Hi, there is absolutely NO excuse for mispelling the grooms name, and it should be fixed AT ONCE !!!!!!!
I'm sure Cassarino will take ownership and fix the problem once you bring it to their attention, but I'd tell them right away, and express how unhappy it made you.

Mistake #2, I agree there may be reasons for this. I'd ask why the other tables weren't in the edited copy, hopefuly they were taped, and you can have them fix the video to include them.
If they were NOT taped, I say to complain and get some $$$ back !!!

I had an issue with my photographer (long boring story) and he compensated me with some free 11x14 pics and since he couldn't undo the mistake (nothing major, just a big headache), I felt satisfied with this as compensation.

But see if the interviews are on there first. Hopefully they are and hopefully your videographer will be professional enough to make good on satisfying you without any aggravation.

Tammy- Im SURE they will correct it. THEY HAVE TO CORRECT IT. That's not your husband's name!!!
And as far as issue #2, don't worry. Watch the unedited tonite and see if it's there

I am really sorry that you are dealing with this error. How unprofessional. But I can understand making a mistake- it all depends on how you are treated and how they fix the problem.

I have posted before that photographer's should stick to photography and brides should use stand-alone video companies. Wedding videography is not just taking a camera and walking around. I am sorry you do not have the interviews you had wanted but like Stef said not all guests like being on camera and there might have been a ton of repeated 'congrats' on tape. Let us know how this works out for you. Try to calm down and relax. I hate to see anyone so stressed out- I know because I always am too.
