Re: HELP

Sorry to crash but why don't you try the El Caribe in Brooklyn. We just had our wedding there and they were incredible.

Re: HELP

My friend's list is a little over 400 & they booked the Watermill for 1/08. From what she's told me, they are VERY willing to negotiate with you & she's had a really nice experience working with them so far. You might want to give them a call! Good luck!!!!

Re: HELP

I remember seeing commercials on TV when I was little for the Grand Prospect Hall. I think they have a room for like, 1000 ppl or something unbelievable like that. I've never actually known anyone that got married there but it might be worth a shot? Depends on what kind of 'look' you're going for too....I think their decor is very over the top, not a good or bad thing, just a description. Good Luck!!

Re: HELP

i think u can do SOME work on the numbers....our original number was way over 300 - and after REALLY sitting down and doing what we had to do, we cut out almost 80 people. I know initially u cant imagine cutting any one out, but u could sit down with ur parents and consider making a B-list.....other wise, if u dont mind shelling out the cash - find a place and have a big party!!!!! Grand Prospect Hall is humungus and gorgous, and russos is pretty big too! Good Luck!

Re: HELP

The Hyatt Windwatch can accomodate that many people!

We looked at the Watermill and they said they could comfortably accomodate 360, it gets a little tight after that.

When we were looking, we found that many halls will lower the price per head if you increase your minimum.

Good luck!

Re: HELP

The Huntinton Hilton starts at like $90pp++ and can fit up to 600. PLUS...bride and groom get a suite for the night!

Re: HELP

You put Thatched Cottage on your list, but I think that it would seem to small to be comfortable with 400+.
