Help!!

I went dress shopping yesterday and I found one dress I really liked and another I LOVED. I'm trying to find them on their sites, but can't. One is an Allure gown and the other is a Mori Lee. I've searched every dress on every website and can't find it.

Any suggestions?

PS, I went to a well known bridal shop in Bayshore and the woman was a money hungry biotch. I arrived on time for my appt and I had to wait for this lady to finish with someone else (which is fine, I don't mind waiting), then when she started with me, she was such a know it all.... I'm such an easy going person and she was very -- I don't know-- anyway, I was there a hour and then after 7 or 8 dresses, I was about to get dressed and my mom pulled a dress for me to try. The sales lady brought it in the dressing room and looked at the price, rolled her eyes and said, 'you aren't going to like this' turns out, it was about 800$ cheaper than all the other dresses I looked at. I told her I wanted to try it on anyway and she helped me put it on and then disappeared. I had to get out of my dress, BY MYSELF, because she had moved on to another customer... I'm sure I am over reacting, but it definitely rubbed me the wrong way.

Re: Help!!

this woman sounds like a biotch. if i were you, i would go somewhere else to try on/buy your dress. they don't deserve your business.

Re: Help!!

I did. We passed by the Commack Wedding Center on our way home and stopped in. They were very friendly and that is where I found the two dresses that I love. They were very helpful and made me feel like I was the only bride in the place....

Re: Help!!

I didn't like the shop in Bay Shore either--I called them to get a price on the gown I had picked out, and the person on the phone, whom I believe was the owner, gave me a really bad impression. Quoted me a price hundreds more than I had heard at other shops, then tried to tell me that it would still be a better price in the end as the other shops would rip me off for alterations. Which is possible, but since she said the alterations were capped at a point that was about the same as the other shops, I didn't think so. And she tried to convince me of how the other shops were thieves and ripoffs. I don't like salespeople who try to get your business by running down their competitors. Especially since she was a ripoff. As it turned out, I didn't get any alterations, as I ordered a hollow to hem (which the Bay Shore person told me wasn't possible with that gown!) and I ended up saving hundreds over shopping in the Bay Shore store.

glad to hear I wasn't the only one who had a bad experience. the lady who helpped me also told me that other stores were not as good as theirs and that I would be ripped off if I went any where else.
