How did you guys write out the addresses on the envelopes of your invites? Did you hire a calligrapher? Did you write them out yourself? Did you print them on the envelopes through your printer? Did you buy labels and print them on the labels to stick to the envelopes??
I just tried doing it through my own printer but it seems like the ink isnt drying to the envelope! I dont know what to do!

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had my mom's friend print them for me and they came out perfect. You need to use a special printer and program if you print them urself.. calligraphying them urself also looks good but only if you know how and have the time.. alot of time.. i'd say ur best bet is to bring them to someone.

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had the same problem with my printer. I used wordperfect and printed them out at my SIL's office on an inkjet printer. Or is it laser :scratch : They come out dry.

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
We printed them from the computer-I just couldnt see spending the money on a calligrapher when I could do it for $5

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
i printed them out. the outers came out fine, however i used lined inners and after wasting about a dozen i gave up and realized my printed WOULD NOT feed the thickness of the envelope so i went to my moms and used her printer and it worked

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
My mom does calligraphy, so she did mine. FM me if you would like pricing.
You can try to buy the adhesive spray from Michael's or Staples, that should make the ink stick to the envelope. Or you can try another printer. I think ink jets are better than bubble jets, or vice versa...I don't remember.

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, they are metalic envelopes....and I had a feeling that this was going to happen with them cause theyre more slick than the regular paper envelopes.

What is this adhesive spary you speak of? I've never heard of it. Do you spray it on the ink after it prints....or do you spray it on the ink after it prints? Is it made specifically for problems like this?
