thanks for the offer....I actually live in Wisconsin though so I think that would be a pretty far distance to travel. lol
I thought mine would work on my printer too but since the invites are a metalic paper, it just doesnt dry. It wipes right off. Did you have the metalic paper also?

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought clear labels and printed them out on a laser printer (you could probably find one for inkjet printers) and then I'm sticking them onto the envelopes... HTH

Yeah, this is probably what were gonna end up having to do if we cant figure out how to print them right on to the envelopes. I definitely do not want to write them all out.

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a printer trick. Take a piece of 8.5 x 11 paper, and place an envelope on it. Align the envelope to the top of the page and the left of the page. Trace it.
Then, open MS Word, and hit enter a few times and indent a few times. Type an address. Print out the page. See where the address prints out.
Compare this to where you would want it to print on the envelope. Once you feel satisfied with the centering, you can tape an envelope to the paper using a double-sided tape and run it through the printer like that. This really works. I used this method to print the envelopes for my bridal shower invites.

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, Staples and Office Max could probably help you out with this if you run into trouble. I had them help me out with some other stuff, and their prices are cheap.

My mom does calligraphy, so she did mine. FM me if you would like pricing.
You can try to buy the adhesive spray from Michael's or Staples, that should make the ink stick to the envelope. Or you can try another printer. I think ink jets are better than bubble jets, or vice versa...I don't remember.
What is this adhesive spary you speak of? I've never heard of it. Do you spray it on the ink after it prints....or do you spray it on the ink after it prints? Is it made specifically for problems like this?
You spray it on after the envelope is printed, it's like a top coat when you get a manicure

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
We used Melanie from A Fine Letter to do calligraphy. She's in Illinois but accepts mail jobs from all over. A number of posters on this site have used her--do a search. Great pricing, very clear Web site, a number of letter styles to choose from.
You can always just do it yourselves, too.

My sister hand wrote all of mine, she has pretty writing and I couldn't see spending a lot of money on something people just throw away.

I went to Michaels and they had no idea what I was talking about when I asked them for this. LOL
