help?

guh - when and how am i supposed to find a dj for my wedding when i have no time? i just moved to brooklyn, am still unpacking, working full time, going to grad school, and planning a wedding - but WHEN am i supposed to plan this wedding.

i have th church and the reception hall and honestly if i just had the dj i'd be ok b/c i'd have the basics, but i don't and i feel like if i don't book one soon i won't be able to.

anyone have any tip or know of any big expos/showcases coming up where i can get this all done in one fell swoop?

blegh.

Does your reception hall have any recommended vendors?

also, I don't want to add more stress to your life, but photographers/videographers get booked very quickly, especially for summer weddings...

My WONDERFUL DJ LIVES IN BROOKLYN!!!!!!! When we meet with him - we meet at his apartment, but as you are in Brooklyn, he may come to you!!!

He doesn't do the whole giveaway thing though - he's just a pure music DJ...he was a club DJ in NY before he was asked to do a friends' wedding & loved it!!!

here's his website - i cannot wait to use him!

that sounds awesome! we've been looking for a dj with a more club-y kinda sound/experience and the fact that he's in brooklyn is even better. he travels to li? i'll definitely check him out. thanks! =0)

i know. we both went to art school and a friend of ours from school has offered to do our pics which is good b/c we really love her work. and if for some reason that falls through my cousin's photographer who they know the same way is available and we like his work as well, so i'm not too worried about that.

thanks for the reminder though. i'm so overwhelmed i need as many as i can get. =0)
