Re: HELP

Here you go! They have different lacey and chiffon fabric to chose from. I would like to see less fabric. Maybe talk to them to see if they can shorten it a little.

Re: HELP

I don't know if you'll like either of these ideas, but I figured they were at least worth suggesting.

Could sleeves be sewn onto her dress and the back sewn to be higher? Granted, if she is the only one in a different dress, it may still be noticeable but not as noticeable as a jacket.

OR

Does she have long hair? Could she wear her hair down that day to cover her back? Would that be acceptable for her? Or could she have extensions? That way her back is technically covered, but the dress isn't being compromised.

Re: HELP

I've also seen brides sewn in lace cap sleeves. Would that be acceptable?

Re: HELP

If you went with the lace cap sleeves like lucamom suggested, I think that would look quite nice.

Re: HELP

Something like this. Just get some lace material that matches the color of the dress. A seamstress would be able to make this. It looks pretty easy to do.

Re: HELP

I definitely think that one person shouldn't be wearing a jacket/bolero/etc. unless she is the MOH so that she stands out on purpose. I would suggest her wearing a shawl and taking it off for your pictures. If you are totally against her wearing anything then that is your decision, she can take it or leave it! GOOD LUCK with the situation! I have no patience for that, I am one of those crazy brides who are making their BM's sign a contract lol!
