i don't know what hotels are near jt but to block a room you call their sales department and tell them you need to block some rooms off for your wedding
Thinking about what hotels are nearby. I live down the block from JT, but I dont know of any hotels right near by. The closest ones I know of are in Garden City, where you have a Holiday Inn, a Hilton Garden Inn, La Quinta
i book with la quinta. they were AWESOME and I highly recommend them! They were EXTREMELY helpful! Either go down there and talk to them or even email them and they will send you the information for blocking the rooms. I blocked off 15 rooms and it comes with a free shuttle service. Plus a room for the brunch the next day!
2011 crashing! JT's recommended hotel is the Hilton Garden Inn in Garden City. I have heard great things about La quinta thought and am thinking about going with them just because they have a bar on premises. The shuttle thing is tricky though as I hear La Quinta gives you one shuttle for every 15 rooms booked. The shuttle only fits 15, so if every guest has a guest, that's 30 people for every 15 rooms and only a 15 person shuttle. Doesn't make sense
