I got engaged in November of 09.. and we have set our date for July 2, 2011..... My FH and I both have family from out of state and international. We are not having an engagement party , So my mom suggested to send announcements with the Save the dates. ..... Is this too early????
If you are going to be sending Save The Dates, I would wait until you at most a year out. Save The Dates are usually sent 9-12 months before for the wedding. Also, since you are going to have a lot of OOT guests and are probably going to be blocking rooms at a hotel, it would be better for you to wait, find which hotel your using/block rooms and then have that information to send along with the Save The Dates so your guests can book rooms early if they want to.
