Help!!!

FH and I are contemplating changing our wedding from a friday evening wedding to a saturday day wedding to try to save costs... what would you do?????

I voted Friday night - but in all honesty, if your reasons for changing it are to save money, then go for it!

You want to be comfortable with your day and what you choose.

I am doing a Sat. Day.

There are pros and cons. Including that a day wedding is more casual. However you will have to wake up at the crack of dawn to get ready. But, you and FH will have a real wedding night! We are staying at the hotel attached to RH and we will have a full evening together I am super excited about this!!

Would do Friday night cuz for Saturday day wedding, there'll probably be another wedding at night time so you might not be able to hang around the place at long afterwards

I like the idea of a friday night
but its hard with things that you have to do before especially if you have work or have to take off of work... Saturday day I'm able to get a good night's rest and get my hair and everything else done before the wedding without being exhausted from the day...i think its also good for the guests for the same reason

If money is the issue then change to Sat Day but if not just keep Friday night.

ITA... we are aiming for Fridays... I love the idea of night wedding and the fact that generally everyone is off the next day

I'm doing a Friday Night wedding. The one thing I would be concerned about with the Saturday Day is feeling rushed to end the event because the Saturday Night wedding needs to be set up.

IA with the rushed sense. I don't want to be rushed at all. But that is the only con that I see as of now. Funny thing: I'm a night person and love the idea of a night wedding, but I hate the cost lol...

If you can't imagine yourself having a day wedding (remember, there won't be that typical 'party' feel with the DJ lights since light will be streaming in the window), then stick with Friday night.

But if it will help you out financially and you can get down with a day wedding lol, I say go for Sat. day and then continue the party afterward! If you're having OOT guests stay at a local hotel, see if the hotel bar will allow you to party there once the reception ends

We picked an expensive hall so to cut costs were doin a sat daytime....so happy with our decisions!

I agree. If your goal is to save money, then I would do a Saturday day wedding.
