SO I'm starting to freak out now.... Our budget is so low that I really need to find a really inexpensive person to do my hair and my makeup. The catcus i go to wants to charge 125 for my hair and 100 bucks for a trial. 225! That's too much for me to pay for hair. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive person to do my hair for 125 including a trial. Thanks!

Y don't u put an ad out at the local boces? They have girls in there to become hairstylist and some of them are really really good. My MOH (sister) went there and she is soooooo good (even though she never got her license to do it). If she wasn't my MOH I would have her doin my hair. But I am just gonna have my FMIL do it (she used to own salons on the Northfork, and she used to do Mrs. Pindar's hair..pindar wines..).
Also U can put out an ad for a retired hairstylist to do this. Most retireies are really really good, fast, and looking to make extra $$. HTH

LI Beauty School is really reason able as long as you use a student! My sister gets her hair done there all the time.
