Re: Help! I think I fell out of love
are you sure you're out of love??? if its been a few months since you ordered and you haven't seen it in a while you might just think you're out of love!
We're into feb and your wedding is in june...it might be really really tight to find / order / alter the dress of your dreams in that time frame.
I would call and learn the policy you're dealing with. I mean worst case you could try to sell the dress yourself when it comes in!
good luck!

why don't you try it on in person again? I think it's a beautiful dress honestly and would look great on your figure.

Re: Help! I think I fell out of love
I would definitely go try it on again if the sample is still available, like the other girls said, maybe you just THINK you fell out of love
If you end up truly not loving the dress anymore then you must go find a new one! You have to be in love with your wedding gown, it's something I wouldn't settle on!
sooo
1. call BR tomorrow and ask them policy 2. Find out if sample is available to try on 3. If sample is available go try it on 4. if you still hate it after trying it on, find a dress ASAP!!!!
I changed my dress 3 times already!!! don't settle!

Re: Help! I think I fell out of love
I felt the same way after I ordered my gown. I ordered it almost 20 months before my wedding and every time I looked at pictures I was thinking I wanted something else and to keep looking. Finally I went back to the place I bought it (they said they didn't order it yet) and tried it on again. I fell in love all over again, even after looking at my pictures.
I would say go to see if you can try on the sample again. If they ordered it and you aren't in love with it, ask them what their policy is. If you have to get another dress you can always try to sell the first dress you bought, or have two different dresses for your wedding day. You can always try and do a TTD shot and use that first gown instead of using a new dress if you buy it. But I would say DEF go try on your first dress sample again before making any decisions and making yourself crazy.
GOOD LUCK!

Re: Help! I think I fell out of love
I just took a peak in your profile and I <3love<3 your dress.....but the fact that I love it doesn't matter!
The reason I'm re-posting is because I had an all lace dress with a simple silhouette as well...
I never ever fell out of love with my dress but during the period between ordering it and actually trying on MY dress I have a few fleeting thoughts of doubt....did I want a larger train? did I want a fuller skirt? etc etc.
I remember the moment of seeing *my* dress for the first time after it arrived and every single doubt went down the drain......nevermind once I slipped it on for my first fitting ahhhh - the best feeling!
GOOD LUCK!

with my bridal gown. I ordered it right after I got engaged and now I think I want a more formal style. I keep looking at the pics from when I tried it on and I just don't like it at all anymore. The dress did not come in yet and I ourchased it at Bridal Reflections. what is their policy? My mother will kill me if I tell her this. I am seriously panicing here...Help!
Is it the one in your album? if so I LOVE IT and think it is formal and traditional. What look are you trying to go for?
Maybe go back to the store (alone) and try on the sample again and see how you feel. GOODLUCK!
Also.... are you still selling those frames in your album?

It's a gorgeous dress! Did you try it on again? You should, just to make sure. I second guessed my dress too for a while, but I think it was just because I had an urge to go dress shopping again.
What did you feel when you put the dress on compared to other dresses?

IMO, lace is super formal and i think that dress is stunning. try it on again, and see how you feel, but don't make any rash decisions.

Re: Help! I think I fell out of love
that dress is stunning and amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
the lace in itself makes it formal
with a bigger sash and crystals...that will be a wow dress!
but like others said... you have to love it not us!
try it on again first!! then go from there...and go ALONE when you try it on!

Re: Help! I think I fell out of love
I love the dress but that does not matter.
My cousin wore a dress also with a plunging neckline (very similar to yours) and it did not look trashy at all. Actually my mom said to me why don't you try on a dress like she wore.
