Honestly I think its annoying that shes having a dress code, and I would be pissed too if i didn't look good in the color. However I would probably just wear the colors she requested at the end of the day.
I don't think the dress is too close to white but its definitely not brown.

This is the craziest thing I've ever heard. I'd be so tempted to show up in like a brown potato sack and be like, 'Sorry, this was all I could find to fit your dress code,' but that would be spiteful, lol.
Seriously though, the dress is too light if you're trying to 'adhere' to her code.
