HELP!

Hello Ladies! I know I haven't been able to get on here in a while, but maybe you girls can help, FH and I are debating what to do about the place cards/favors. Our favor will be candied apples, which are also doubling as place cards. We're wondering if we should (1)give each guest an apple and have them set up at each table, and just do a seating chart. Or (2) do as originally planned and have each parties name on one candied apple with their table assignment (example:Michael Amador and guest table 2)? If we went with choice 2, each party would only get one apple, and their would be no need for a seating chart, if we did choice one each person would get an apple, and we would need a seating chart. Please help!

FYI we don't have a lot of the with a 'guest' names, they just responded with 'Michael Amador and guest'

I would do the chart and one candy apple per person at their place setting

i think the candy apple would look nice on the table
and I think seating charts are so much neater and easier to find your names

and this way everyone gets an apple too!

I'm leaning towards keeping an apple pp at each table with a seating chart because who wants to carry the apple around when they find their seating card in the middle of CH?? I'm running into an issue like that cause I feel like no one will have anywhere to put the place card holder before they sit so I may eliminate all together and just have cards for this reason.

IMO even if the cards are closer to the main hall, people always go looking for their cards early!

I would want to do choice two, but you should go with the seating chart so everyone gets one. Don't worry there are some really cute looking seating charts you can make. i.e:
