Help!

Well I was a Thatched Cottage bride but we all know how that turned out. ??
I need to find a new venue before I start school because I honestly won't have time between class, clinicials, my job and my son. Any help would be appreciated!


Any prices or opinions on Inn at New Hyde Park, Bridgeview Yacht Club, sand castle, woodlands, glen cove mansion, flower field? If you have any others you think I should see, please tell me! Lol

Sand Castle was our runner up - the reception hall itself is ABSOLUTELY beautiful, and they do offer a lot. Our personal issue with it was its location, and we are having our ceremony there and were looking for a venue we could take all of our photos at, and this didn't have it for us. It really is a great place though, I'd go see it and decide for yourself.

out of the ones above I have been to the sand castle and its the only place I ever called the next day to say how amazing the food and service was.I heard New hyde park is beautiful.
I am getting married at the Riviera in Massapequa. I love it, they give a lot for the price, its beautiful and the food is amazing.

I suggest looking into Milleridge Cottage...Great prices, amazing to work with, and I've heard very similar to Thatched Cottage!

I called around a bit. I didn't think they'd give me prices over the phone, but they did! Sand Castle was too out of budget. Bridge view is a great price and we have an appointment as well as the Venetian. Woodlands and the inn are calling me back. Thank you ladies for your help!

I was a Thatched Cottage Bride as we'll and have since moved to Bridgeview. They have had several brides from TC move over and are very aware of our situation and willing to work with you. My quotes are for Fall 2014 so they won't probably be the same but give Kathy a call and explain your situation. I can tell you that my price beat out the TC price by a lot. It didn't make up for all that I lost but it definitely helped. Hang in there!

check out the milleridge cottage- very similar to the look of thatched on the inside. all hardwoods floors, one wedding at a time, holds close to 400 people, a HUGE dance floor, gorgeous fireplace, i could go on and on... if you want to see some pics from my wedding feel free to send me FM and I'll send you a few a give you an idea of pricing :)
