HELP!!!!! Anyone a MAC expert???

I accidentally deleted a file... and restarted my imac... now it won't turn on!!! Im about to cry!!! I have sooo much saved on that compt!! When i turn it on all i see is a light blue screen...

If I can get back to my desktop I can replace the file I deleted so easily... i know with PCs, there is a way to go back in the compts history a day or so... can that be done with Macs????

If I put in the original start up disk will i loose everything I have saved on the compt??? Can anyone Help??????

Have you tried to reset your P-RAM?

Unfortunately, you can't 'go back' to 2 weeks ago on a Mac
