I second Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst. They are wonderful to work with and do a great job. I had my engagement party there.

My two final choices are Thatched Cottage (North Shore) and Chateau La Mer (South Shore). If you really want the South Shore, I would definitely check out Chateau and ask for Nick. He's so great (well, I think they are all great in there... ) Anyway, best priced place on the water that I've found so far and the food is outrageous. It's so gorgeous inside and they keep renovating and making it even better. It's definitely worth a visit.

This weeknd we're looking at Riviera and Vanderbilt Mansion. We may also look at Sandcastle and Stewart Monor CC< b/c theyre close to FH in franklin square..I JUST posted about south shore reception sites today

ETA: what didn't you like about the north shore halls? Which did you look at? There are SO many nice ones near the north shore

Well the Tony and I want a wedding byt the water and honestly as much as I love living here in the North Shore the water is very murky and there are so many boats out that the pictures would look just horrible I want something that I can say oh WOW!! in the pictures and be really happy that it was the perfect choice.

We got married at Sunset Harbour.. The food is excellent.... They offer a tasting beforebooking... Their service is unbelievable... If you have any questions, please feel free to FM me!!!

You abd your husbband look so cute, anyway even though I am much older than you I feel like an idiot I am not even sure what is that I am suppose to be expecting from the catering hall or anyone for that matter!!!! I am going tomorrow to the Harbour to see what they have to offer but if you can give me any help please FM me :)

Giorgio's is absolutely breathtaking! You get beach pictures, garden pictures, golf course...you miss nothing! Go to their website and see their pictures and virtual tour. It's well worth looking into. I got a great price and the food and service are wonderful.

Southshore on the water, I would defenitly recommend Chateau la Mer, I went to a wedding there a couple of weeks ago and the food and service were awesome. I never had to ask for a drink once.
