Help! Anyone taking taking dance lessons?

I am trying to find a dance studio that doesn't make me feel like I am looking at a timeshare! Anyone know a reasonably priced instructor who's not a shark! We are on the border of Nassau and Queens.

Re: Help! Anyone taking taking dance lessons?

My FI and I have been using a VHS tape that we bought at Fourtunoffs and we are doing great with it. It gives us all the time we need and we can be dancing fools in private! So far we have learned to Fox Trot and Watlz. We are working on swing right now!

Arthur Murray. I believe you can attend an introductory class for free - to get a feel for the studio and what they offer.

We are doing Arthur Murray in Queens. They are extremely nice and patient. They really care about you. We thought it was going to be anxiety-producing, but it turned out to be so much fun.

Re: Help! Anyone taking taking dance lessons?

We did ours at arthur murray too...in bayside on bell blvd...and they were great with us...and we learned so much...they were a little pricey...but it has paid off in the long run...b/c DH (who NEVER wanted to dance) asks me if I want to before I can say anything!!!!
