Help ladies! I'm starting to really freak out! Only 38 days until the wedding, I'm booked with Jennifer from Fairytale for hair and make-up and I can't get in touch with her! I've been trying to contact her for the past two weeks, e-mails and voicemail and have heard nothing back. I'm planning from out of town and am only coming up one more time before the wedding (in a couple of weeks) and I've been trying to have my trial with her. Has anybody on the boards talked to her or heard from her in the last two weeks? Any info. would be appreciated!! I'm almost at the point of trying to scramble and find someone else before it gets even closer to the wedding.

Uh oh...Now, you're making me nervous...I'm getting married the week before you and I'm booked with her too!
I'm sure she's just a little busy...keep trying. I know it gets frustrated sometimes.
Please keep me informed and let me know if and when you speak to her...I was going to start contacting her myself just to confirm some details.

Did you have trouble contacting her for your trial? Did she respond to you via phone or e-mail? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just stressing (and having nightmares about nobody coming to do my hair and make-up on my wedding day). Thanks again!

No problem! I had an appointment set up a while ago and she emailed me the day before. She was in Florida the week before my trial and told me she is behind in her emails and calls. She was even working while on vacation to catch up so sont worry.

That's wierd....I heard she's really punctual. She must be really busy....if you dont have any luck reaching her, I would suggest a backup plan...maybe this is far-fetched and not even neccessary, but could you book an appt. at a salon nearby as a backup plan? Honestly, I doubt she would just ignore your messages.....

Thanks Valentine! I will hang tight for a couple more days, hopefully she's just backlogged and she'll get back to me soon. I'm starting to feel the stress of having only a few more weeks left to get things done.

Okay, I am sooo relieved and happy!!! I got a call from Jennifer on my way home from work. She was so nice and she assured me that everything was just fine for my day and my trial.
Thanks for the moral support in my moment of stress ladies!!!! 38 days and I'm stressing, lord help my FH when we get to single digits, he might have to slip me some valium, lol!

I have found it almost completely impossible to get her on the phone to schedule my trial which is making me think seriously of using someone else.

I know its annoyng but she has a young son and another day job so she is very busy. Doing this is extra stuff for her. Good luck.

I'm so relieved for you flyinbride...and for me too. I know how busy she is...especially with a young son and that she does work during the day.
Regarding a trial...yes, I went for a trial with her and LOVED what she did with my hair and makeup!!!
I'm going to start contacting her soon too to try to confirm my wedding details with her. I definitely know how you feel right now with the feeling that things aren't going to get done with so little time left...I'm down to just about a month to go and I'm really starting to feel the pressure.
I live with my FI and I think he's going to move back home soon!!!!

I have not even started to think about hair and makeup yet but I've seen several posts about Jennifer not getting back to people for extended periods of time and brides get very nervous because it is so close to their wedding day.
I'm sure she is very good but her lack of attentiveness so close to the wedding would concern me a bit.

Hi ladies......just thought I would let you know that I spoke to Jennifer yesterday. I was supposed to go for my trial last night and she called me during the day to re-schedule. Her grandmother was sick and having surgery. So, we re-scheduled for next week. I haven't met her yet, but everyone says she is great. Seems as though between her son and another job, as well as all of us, I am sure she has no time to herself. Just thought I would share
