Ok so we booked Foxhollow and we have the WGP room. Our list was supposed to be 110-115 guests. After really sitting down and writing the full list we are now at 137!!! The website says that the room can hold up to 150 comfortably, but I'm getting nervous that if we wind up with 125 people attending after some NOs that the room will be crammed! Any opinions from past brides??????

I didnt use that RH but the avg amount of no's is 15-20% and most girls in 09' have been seeing much higher rates of no's so I wouldnt worry.

If it can hold 150 comfortably then why would 125 be a problem?

I think it would depend on the table layouts and how many people you invite get up to dance. Most places will give a number like 150 - but they really mean 120. Rule of thumb has been to subtract 30 from the number - advice given to me a friend who was a BM at WM.

call and ask to see it set up when they have an event for approx. 125 people- they you can see for yourself what it would look like

I invited over 300 people and we didn't meet the 235 we had guaranteed. I would say you are fine.

We invited about 170 and ended up with 138. Everyone fit perfectly and the room didn't feel crowded.

I don't think you will have a problem. It seems that b/t 10-20 percent of people wind up saying no.

I got married at The Fox Hollow in the Garden Terrace room. I invited 260 people & had 210 total Yes'. My CH was in the Briar Fox & that room holds up to 180 So i think if you ave up to 125 u should be just fine. I know the room. It will be great.

Mostly 12 some 10 and some 8. I wish I had a pic with people at the tables to show you, but here is the table set up for 12. Don't worry they'll fit comfortably. I had a lot of big guys at the tables and everyone fit comfortably.
I had 135 at my reception....tables of mostly 12 with some 10's.....it was wonderful.
You'll be fine.

I'm in the same room and we're inviting 156. My BM told me it was fine because, even if EVERYONE says yes (which would never happen anyway) they can do max 13 tables of 12... that's 156. You'll be just find.

I can't speak for that particular room but you can call and ask them if they have a party upcoming with about 135 guests in that room, and if so, would you be able to drop by before the party starts to look at what the set up room looks like. We did this for our RH b/c we saw the room st up for the minimum of 200, and we're having much closer to 300. It was helpful!
