My mother said Fh and I have to get blood test done before we are married, she laughed at me when I said WHAT? anyway when do we go before we get our marriage liscense or after I complet forgot about this, chruch said nothing about this!

You used to have to get this done with your marriage license, but you don't have to do this anymore.

FMIL told us that we had to do that too. however, NY no longer requires you to do it.
