Hi, We have 2 more guys than girls.....7 girls and 9 guys. What would you say if 2 guys walked down the isle togeather, because I really don't want to have 2 guys walk one girl down...... remember, not holding hands or anything, but just walking down...Honest opinions please!!!!

I would make the 2 guys walk a girl down the aisle. But that is JMO.

Re: Help, bridal party
am I the only one who feels that in this day and age, it shouldn't matter if two guys walk next to each other?
It seems silly for me for the guys to feel uncomfortable. They're just walking. They're not holding hands or kissing when they get to the altar or something. I say if you prefer it that way to having two walk one bridesmaid, go for it. That's what I'd do. Or I'd just have everybody walk on their own.

Re: Help, bridal party
i have two 4 extra bm's and I will have it so 2 girls walk with 1 guy. I think that looks better than two guys walking down the aisle. To be honest with you, I doubt the guys would even want to walk down together. WHat does your fh say? Mine would never make two of his guy friends walk down the aisle together. I think that would look wierd and probably cause a few heads to turn and a few whispers, but that's just my family and friends for ya.

Re: Help, bridal party
We had all the groomsmen walk in single file, followed by the two best men walking together side by side (gasp) and then DH and his parents. Once they were set, each bridesmaid walked in single file, followed by the two MOHs walking sideby side and then I came in with my mom and my uncle. It was unconventional, but it was really nice to give most of the people individual moments in the sun, and the best men and MOHs seemed to enjoy having a partner in crime (so to speak) to walk with. The longer processional added another element of 'ceremony' and gave DH and his parents the opportunity to have a big entrance. It also gave us a little more time for music (we are big music people and had people singing during the processional).
Good luck with your decision, and don't let anyone pressure you into doing something just because 'that's the way it's done.' Do what YOU want to do.
