Help! Bridesmaid dresses

Yikes. So, I haven't picked out an exact dress yet. I have a few in mind that i saw on a website. But, now i am confused on what color i want. I was originally gonna have all all the BM in a light yellow and the MOH in a malibu blue. I am torn because whenever i show anyone the colors the first thing i hear is 'wow, that blue is gorgeous!' So now i don't know if i should just do everyone in the same blue? and let the MOH pick out whatever dress she wants? I am so confused.

That's totally up to you.. Maybe the blue just steals the show against the yellow? Or maybe you could do them all in blue and give your MOH a different color bouqet?

The colors are completely up to you. I would only offer that yellow can be a difficult color for some people to pull off, depending on their skin tone. You have plenty of time to decide though, don't feel pressured to make a decision.

I like the idea of a different bouquet for the MOH.

this is actually what I was thinking! or if u want more yellow they could ask have a yellow sash? I think your still safe with pink and yellow flowers. I saw an album at my photographers studio bridesmaids were in blue and they carried sunflower!! ib think that combo is very popular!

Yeah, i think i will worry about the flowers last. I still have to go and see everything in person. I am sure once i see it all in person it will all fall into place

Re: Help! Bridesmaid dresses

I was in a similar boat with my BM dresses (colors are yellow and grey). I saw the yellow swatches at the bridal store and decided they'd all be in grey and my MOH will have a different dress in the grey. The yellow seems to be tough to pull off.

you could have all of the girls in the same color and just have the MOH wear a different style dress

Keep in mind the colors on the website will be different in person under the lights.
What I thought was the color I wanted at DB looked different when I saw it. The color was Lapis which suggests a blue hue, but online it looked like it belonged to the Purple family.
Cets1290 has a good idea, but if you want everyone wearing the same dress then MOH could have slightly different jewelry or flowers.
The decision is entirely up to you. I like what you said 'I still have to go and see everything in person. I am sure once i see it all in person it will all fall into place.' You have the right frame of mind. You will figure it out, and it will be terrific.
