Help! Can anyone think of a movie/TV show where...

a boss is lienient on an employee due to a personal problem? Needed for DH's ethic paper.

What about Regarding Henry? The law firm still kept him on salary even though he wasn't doing any real work because of his physical injury.

Rudy's boss knows that Rudy is breaking into the locker room/office at ND at night and sleeping there and even though he doesn't approve he leaves a key and makes a bed for him the following day (he does something like that)

On Full House, whnever the kids have a problem, they like, walk onto the set. I'm thinking specifically of when they lose comet and danny and rebecca are shooting on location at a park.
