My mother ordered a black dress- (with my blessing.) It was STUNNING and she looked like she should be on a runway!!!! I said okay- my girls will be in black and I'll put both the mom's in black and I'll be the only one wearing WHITE!!!!

i dont really like when anyone in the wedding party on either of the moms wear black, im traditional and just dont like the idea of black that day

If she feels beautiful, then why not? I think it's esp. appropriate since your girls are also wearing black; it fits in w/ the color scheme.

I don't see why not. My mom was planning on doing black until she found out the BM dresses might be black so if they are then she will find a different color.

My Mom was freaking out about the color of her dress as well (hot pink). She told me that it wasn't right for the MOB to wear such a bright color (it looked AWESOME on her). I told her that the only person who could say it wasn't right was me, and I loved it.
If you don't mind, then she should go with it! She should be comfortable in whatever she's wearing!

My mom is wearing black (so are my BMs). She asked me if it was ok & I said it was...as long as she wasn't in mourning Her dress is gorg btw! Can't wait to see her in it on the big day!

Actually, now that I think of it... I wish my mother wore black instead of her LIGHT LIGHT 'silver' dress.
