Help! Can you suggest creative ways to ask your friends to be your bridesmaids?

Any creative way that you have either done it yourself or heard of someone else doing it would be wonderful. Please share!

- You can make bridesmaids cards for them
- You can have a coffee mug made asking them, and turn it into a little gift basket
- You could make them each a small dessert and write it on top of the dessert
- You could have a singing telegram come to their door and ask them ( I actually got that idea from another bride on this site and wanted to use it ...but they are expensive )
- You could take each girl out to dinner and have the waitress come to the table with a piece of cake and have her ask them (sing it) for you

I ordered 'Will you be my bridesmaid' cards on ebay. I can't remember the womans name but she has them and the dresses on the front can come in different colors. I chose the color I was planning on using for the girls. I also brought a ringbearer and flowergirl one.

And, inside, I put a different poem for each of them.

I got the poems from either this site or the internet.

Look in my album - there are picks of mine in my DIY section - i bought little photo albums at Michaels (they were like $2). Then i bought scrapbooking stickers, quotes and paper, some old picks of me and the girls and on the last page i wrote a poem that asked: will you be my bridesmaid?

for my sister i got her this bracelet from Limonges.com that said always sisters, forever friends and just wrote on a heart shaped paper, 'will you be my MOH?

you could get photo cubes from Michaels

sometimes just walking aorund a craft store like that ideas pop into your head
