HELP! candy buffet question (also on 2010 boards)

ok maybe u girls can help me out with this....

i want to do a candy buffet for our E-party favors. including kids, there will be no more than 100 ppl. ok so i'm getting little chinese take out containers, normal pint size. my question is: how many lbs of candy should i get? i dont wanna go CRAZY with buying too much/spending too much! ppl arent going to fill the 16oz containers to the TOP right? plus, i'm getting things that are chunky too, like salt water taffy...they take up room in the container.....

If you are having that many people you might want to do smaller containers. I have seen it all when it comes to people and free things. You will be surprised how many people (who you might not even expect) will be filling those up to the top and maybe wanting more. I have been a witness to this happening with people that left me

Getting bigger candy that takes up more space is a good idea. As for how many lbs of candy, I can´t really help because I´ve never done one of these. I´ve just seen people´s behavior with similar things.
