A coworker of mine is getting married at Teerace on The Park and she said they have been GREAT with her and she was able to work a great price.

I have to say Russo's also but I doubt they will allow outside catering. Brooklyn Botanical Gardens is beautiful.

Re: Help!!! Cant find a venue!!! Brooklyn/Queens

I'm booked at Russo's and that's because it's the best in BK and Queens (our church is in BK and there were a lot of LI places I wanted to check out but had to eliminate because of travel time).

I can tell you from first hand experience, even on a Saturday night in peak season Russo's will be within your budget. And once you taste the food, you won't care about bringing in your own caterer. They are known for their food. Whenever I tell someone where my wedding is booked, they start drooling, espcially when I talk to vendors, they goo mmm, good food!

I can 95% guarantee Frank Russo isn't going to let you bring in a caterer.

The new gardens are really pretty too, you're gonna love it there. FH's cousin got married at El Caribe a few years ago and it was really nice and the food was really good, but IMO Russo's is so much better.G good luck at your appointments!

PS, I saw someone recommended Sirico's...they won't hold a candle to the kind of places you seem to be looking at. I went to a wedding there a couple of years ago and it was... ehhhhhhh...

Oh yeah! I forgot about El Caribe. It is really nice but again I think the outside catering would be questionable.
