Rebecca is growing out of her infant carseat, but will still require a rear-facing carseat. But, we have to get one of those convertible ones that will recline enough now, and yet be sturdy enough for later on. What's the BEST one???? (I don't care what it costs, I want to get the BEST one...) Any suggestions?

Not that I know my a$$ from my elbow with this yet, nor have I used mine yet, but I can tell you that I registered for and received (sitting in the basement) the Britax Marathon. Which is supposedly one of the best out there. Although there might be a newer model out now.
JennRenee, is that the one I have? I know you and I, actually you and JOE, picked the same one.
But whatever the pattern, the Britax is supposed to be the best there is -- this I got from reviews and some of my friends.
Rebecca doesn't fit in hers anymore? How cute is that? How much is she now? My little bear cub is becoming a baby grizzly!! She's 15 lbs. 10oz!! 2 weeks ago she was 14/6 -- what the heck is in this Similac???? Joe calls her 'little behemoth'!!!

She's 17.9 pounds, so she's getting there. But, with her thick snowsuit, it's getting really hard to put her in her carseat, and she ends up squished! I feel so bad every time I put her in there.
My research shows that Britax is the best, but which is better - the Roundabout or the Marathon?

I think the Marathon, but don't quote me on that. Check out the reviews in epinions or BRU.
I really wish I bought that Bundle Me thing and I keep saying I'm going to go buy it, but I feel guilty not using these snowsuits people bought!! But like you said, because they're so bulky, Gianna is squished and screams even more when I put her in it.

Is it the bundle me thing that goes around the carrier and zips open and close? Maybe that's why it's a bit tight? I didn't think you needed both, but I have no clue because I don't have one!! My friend's mother gave me this cute snowsuit that's all velcro and has the opening in the crotch for the buckle. I was so excited thinking this was an easy fix -- wrong!! There is an opening on one side for one of the straps, but not the other!! ?????? And then the stupid buckle thing in the crotch (nice wording ) doesn't come all the way up. But the best of all is that Gianna KICKED HER FEET OUT OF THE BOTTOM!!!! So there are her feet flapping in the wind!!! Oh the stress this morning getting her out of the house and to my mother's!!!
I'm going to BRU or BBB this weekend and buying something because I can't do this anymore. The poor kid was practically strangled -- I kept checking on her at every red light to make sure she was still breathing!!!!

No, it's one of those things that's fleece on the inside, and like a parka on the outside - it's like a bag that lays down inside the car seat, it has slits in the bag to pull the straps through, and then you lay your baby inside the 'bag', and then you close the straps, and then you zip up the bag, and your baby is inside the bag with her head sticking out. I like it because this way, her feet are entirely within the bag and warm, and she's surrounded by fleece.

Oh, I like that one. Where did you get it? Gianna would LOVE it because she hates her feet enclosed -- in the hospital, all the babies were bundled up and there's mine with one foot sticking out!!! She's like her mama, I can't stand being enclosed either, that's why I walk around w/my jacket wide open!!!
