I have to change my date, probably to the Sunday, Dec 17. I was all psyched about Dec 16th, I have it embroidered on my binder and tote (very expensive to do!), and it's beethoven day and boston tea party day.
Help cheer me up about dec 17th.

I'm waiting for our BM to call me back about changing the date. it was changing either the hall or the date..something had to be done...changing it to sunday would save us probably $7000 before taxes and tip, so even more after that!
I feel like there are a lot of great halls out there that are less expensive, and I would keep the date, but we really fell in LOVE with NRC, and I feel like I'd always feel like that was the places I was 'supposed' to have my wedding.
I'm still depressed about this stupid tote bag.

Don't even stress about it. IMO the hall is way more important than the date (unless it's sentimental...like the anniversary of something). You still will be celebrating at your dream hall. Now that is way more important than any tote bag.

I am having my wedding on a Sunday.. and so looking forward to it!!! The thingthat matters to me the most is that at the end of the day, I will be married to the man of my dreams.. not the day of the week it happened!

We all know how hard it is to have your heart set on ONE date & then you need to change that...Just remember that no matter if it is the 16th or 17th, you are still marrying FH!!!!

We are having a Sunday wedding also!! I agree that whatever day you choose will be special because you are getting married!! In the end, it will all be worth it. You want to enjoy your day and not stress about $$. Just think of all of the things you can do with the $$ you are saving! LOL!
