Hi! We are going to start looking at places and I want a mansion wedding. However, I don't know the prices (if they are too high I have to rule them out!) SO, does anyone know the prices to the Carltun, Carlyle, Harrison House, Coindre Hall, Bourne Mansion, DeSeversky Center or The Woodlands??? Thanks for your help!

Re: Help choosing a place
I went to a wedding in June on the campus of NYIT. When I saw the invitation I was skeptical but it was in an old mansion on the old westbury campus and it was beautiful. THe food was good the service was good and the place was beautiful! I dont know the price but it may be worth looking into. I just looked on the website it was called de Seversky center. It may sound funny being on a college campus but the place was so nice and really elegant!

Re: Help choosing a place
I recently got married at the Vanderbilt Manison in Oakdale. The mansion and grounds are beautiful and the food and service were exellent (it's run by Lovin Oven Caterers - they have a great reputation). The price wasn't cheap, but it was alot less than most other mansions.

Hi, Welcome and Congrats! I'm getting married at the Bourne Mansion, please feel free to ask away with any questions that you have. I can certainly tell you how much we are spending and how much it will cost you, or at least a ball park figure.

Re: Help choosing a place
My wedding is at the Bourne this Saturday evening.
We looked at Coindre Hall and were disappointed. DeServersky has construction going on within view. (Enough to send brides to other locations like the Bourne.)
You should definitely view these places if you're considering them.
As for our price, we got a great deal for the Bourne. We happened to book last year when Lessing's first took it over the catering. Their site fee has increased and they're now charging $50 more a plate.
