Help choosing BM

Help choosing BM

When we first got engaged my FH and I agreed to have just his brother and my sister stand for us at the wedding. I was totally happy with this. My best friend, who can be a bit self-centered at times could not beleive that she was not asked to be in the party, even though I tried to explain that it wasnt anything personal. After weeks of harrassment I caved-and then there were two BMs.

I could not have that friend without having another one of my really close friends. Long story short, now I am up to three.

Basically there is another friend that I am struggling with. Her and I were best friends growing up, kinda grew apart after high school, but still speak maybe about once a month. We dont really have too much in common other than out pasts. She has been unemployed for about a year, so I am not sure if that will affect her answer. Basically, I want to acknowledge in some way that she is important to me, but I really dont want to expand the bridal party any more than I have.

Should I suck it up and just ask her to keep the peace? I def need to say something before the wedding day. i just dont want any hurt feelings!

Thanks
