I'm making a very similar place card. I ordered vellum (#29 b/c it has no problem going through a laser printer), cardstock (#110), ribbon (i'm trying bows, not just leaving it hanging), a long reach hole puncher that makes smaller than average holes (to put the ribbon through), and I bought a scallop scissor b/c I think that I'm going to scallop the bottom of the vellum.
I'm thinking about trying a few tests soon, I'll let you know how it goes.
