HELP!! Do we HAVE TO register for the shower and wedding??
We really don't need anything. I have lived in my own apartments since I was 18, so I have everything we could need for a house.....and we don't have a house yet...or the room to store anymore stuff. So neither of us really wanna register anywhere. I'm not really sure what to do about it though as far as the invitations are concerned
Is there a nice way to word all that? Because we don't wanna end up with 20 crystal picture frames either

You're going to get gifts weather you want them or not. It's better to just register for things that you would like instead of getting what your guests decide is nice. Have you looked into a honeymoon registry?

I did bring up the honeymoon registry to my FH, but he didn't like the idea. I thought it would be nice, especially because we are paying for everything ourselves

Fh and I are in the same situation...we registered for some new everyday china, some nice kitchen stuff..to upgrade what we have...and we are registering at Home Depot for stuff too...we don't have alot of tools..i bet your Fh would go for that! We also want to register for electronics..like a new TV..haha..his family was asking us if we registered yet because they want to Christmas shop from the registry...i figure this way we'll get stuff we picked.

What about registering at BB&B? You can return anything that is bought off of your registry for cash. Also, you may want to replace some of the stuff that you already have. How about a new set of pots, silverware, knives. That sort of stuff. Just register for enough for your shower and then most people will give cash for the actual wedding.
