Hi ladies, So I ordered my dress at David's Bridal last month. I ordered it early because the dress was discontinued. What I didn't know was that it would come in so quick and that I WOULD HAVE TO STORE IT! I have no where to store it in my apartment. I have a dog and a cat and I'm scared they would find it.
What should I do??? My wedding is 11 months away.
Any suggestions?
Does anyone know a great alteration place that might consider holding the dress for me until I get my alterations done by them.

I tried calling a couple of family members but I'm the only non-smoker in my family. I don't want my dress to smell like smoke...I'm going to keep trying.

Honestly, I kept my dress for a looooooong time (prob about 8 to 10 months) in my house and it was fine. You could just get a garment bag and hang it up.

I'm an anti smoker too, so I would never allow my dress to be in a smokers house. I agree w the back ot a closet in a garment bag, or under a bed?

I had the same problem. Cat, smoker, overstuffed closets and FH all in the same apt. Dress came in 2 months early. I am using Tanya's alterations in Sayville and she agreed to let me store it there till we actually start the fittings in Sept.

The same thing happened to me! After I got my dress I went over to Bed, Bath and Beyond with my coupons and bought a storage closet. (Its on wheels, and its canvas, also has cedar in it). It was worth it! I can fit all of my wedding stuff in there. Hope this helps!
