Does anyone know where I can purchase a faux fur shawl or stole(????). I think that what you call it. Something to put around my shoulders in case it's really cold.

Yes they have a few in Tri-County. They also have some in kiosks in the mall (I go to Roosevelt Field Mall). I actually got my faux fur bolero jacket at G&G for like $13.
