Soooo she's been waiting forever to find a dress...and now if she orders from somewhere she will probably have to pay for a rush order which I don't really want her to have to do.
So any recommendations of good places for her to look for dresses that she can buy off the rack, and just get altered?
TIA
She lives in brooklyn...so anywhere there, queens, or manhattan will work(she works in manhattan). I live in long island...so I can make her trek out here if need be...just not to suffolk

Re: Help finding FMIL her dress
Totally You in Bellmore had a ton of dresses. My MIL ordered hers, but they really had a lot, so I'm sure there's something that she could get off the rack.

Re: Help finding FMIL her dress
My Mom got hers from Nordstrom online. They have an amazing return policy, so she can buy a few, or multiple sizes and return whatever she doesn't want...
My mom did the same thing for my sisters wedding. She kept waiting to look for dresses because she had more weight to lose, although she did not need to lose any weight. Bridal reflections got her dress in within 6 weeks, and yes she had to pay a rush fee. I agree with the other girls, try Nordstrom on line, they have a great return policy.

Menagerie in RVC. Small little shop, but they have some amazing dresses in there!

I agree with the above posters about Nordstroms...take her to the one in Roosevelt Field mall!
