HELP! First Fitting and Hair/Make Up Trial - need honest opinions!!!

Hi ladies!!

I came up to NYC a couple of weeks ago to try on my dress and do a hair and makeup trial.

What are you honest opinions of the hair and makeup?

I NEVER do my hair or wear makeup so I think I look weird but my fabulous bridesman (gay friend) was there with me and he said he loved it because I actually looked like a girl!

What do you think???

I love the makeup... I don't know if I like the one side of the hair up... it looks beautiful curly and swept away from the face... but maybe have both sides down or do a full half up half down do.... but I think he is right..you do look amazing.

i don't wear a lot of makeup either so I know how you feel...but as long as it is comfy on your face I think you look GREAT!!

Thank you - its just so NOT me to have hair and makeup going on that I just dont feel comfortable I guess.

I couldn't put my finger on what I didnt love about the hair - but I think you totally nailed it!

I feel like I dont love the one side up, but I wanted to have a comb or pin for an antique look. Maybe I will wear it down and instead of pulling it back like that, I can use a barrett or hair pins secured by bobby pins to add something to the hair instead of a pulled back comb!

IMO: I like the side swept up.

IMO: I like the side swept up.

I think I have to play with it a bit. Maybe go for a second trial to try out some alternates.

Its Melissa Sweet - I saw it in a magazine years ago (before I was even dating FH) and decided that it was the one. Then when I tried it on - I knew!

Look in my album under makeup i love...the first shot her hair is kind of half up and if you did something like that you would be able to use your pretty comb.

I agree with the above, but I also think the one side up would look good if you brought all your hair over your opposite shoulder, like Jerry Hall.

The dress and make up look great!
