HELP! First Fitting and Hair/Make Up Trial - need honest opinions!!!

Hi ladies!!

I came up to NYC a couple of weeks ago to try on my dress and do a hair and makeup trial.

What are you honest opinions of the hair and makeup?

I NEVER do my hair or wear makeup so I think I look weird but my fabulous bridesman (gay friend) was there with me and he said he loved it because I actually looked like a girl!

What do you think???

hmmm - I am trying to picture what you mean but I can't. do you have a pic?

Holy moly, I used to see pics everywhere of Jerry Hall demonstrating what I meant, and now I go to Google Images and there's nary a thing! I'm sorry, but I couldn't find a good photo to show you exactly what I was trying to describe.

Basically, it was this--since your hair is pinned above your left shoulder, just move the rest of it to cascade over your right shoulder.

I think it is beautiful and will look perfect with your dress!!!! I wouldn't change anything

Its Melissa Sweet - I saw it in a magazine years ago (before I was even dating FH) and decided that it was the one. Then when I tried it on - I knew!

i loveeeee the dress!!!! and i like the curls! definitely do curly and try different ways....post more pics with your veil too!!!!

I love the idea of having one side up and then having it all back later on. It really looks good on you.
And your dress is so beautiful.

you look beautiful!! and i think the one side up with the hair adds flair to the look. do you know what kind of jewelry you want yet? some dangly earrings would look amazing!

That dress is fabulous! The hair is ok...but I agree with the others...I'm not too fond of the one side up. More because I'd be nervous about being all sweaty and having that side slicked to my head by the end of the night or all the curls falling out! Maybe both sides back???

I am wearing my grandmothers pearls and I am on the look out for fabulous dangling earrings!
