Help! Floating candle submerged centerpiece question!

Hey guys! I'm looking to do the tall glass cylinders with submerged flowers and a floating candle on top. I'm not sure if I should attempt to try these on my own or look into having a florist do it. Does anyone have any quotes or florist recommendations? I'm not sure what type of flower I'd use yet. Are some better than others? Lemme know if u have any experience with this. Thanks ladies!

This is a pic of what I was thinking

This is an easier type of centerpiece to do on your own, since the supplies are all readily available. But I also know that prices for Candle arrangements are usually on the lower scale, so if it can be done for a low price its much better, less work for you! lol

Look into Black Dahlia when you are ready to book a florist, she has the best prices for sure!

When I was planning on doing this I was going to do it myself but my rh includes floral centerpieces so I'm doing that instead. But I really couldn't see paying someone to do something that you could do yourself for a fraction of the price.

I bought the glassware on my own and used Lori from Shoreham florist. I bought orchids from her and she set them up for free! Everyone wise wanted like $65/ea. I paid $400 for 18 centerpieces.

Im doing exactly this. Im using Towers Flowers in Nesconset. The difference in the price really wasnt worth it to stress myself out doing it on my own. Call and ask for Bridgette. Shes awesome!

I LOVE how that looks! I have a question for the ladies doing it themselves..

When exactly would you do it? Would you head the venue that AM and take care of it?

I did floating candle centerpieces for my brothers wedding (I pretty much planned the whole thing) All I did was show the bm a picture of what they should look like and they set everything up. I'm sure other places would do that.
