Hi Can you ladies help me here We went to go see florists this week, can you terll me what kind of numbers are normal here. I dont want names of florists but normal Here is what I was quoted
My bouqet 250 My bridesmaids 115 Each center piece 200 The moms and grandmoms coursages 40 eash boutineres FREE
Any guidance on this is greatly appreciated

What kind of flowers are you using? That would help greatly determining the price.
I don't have a breakdown of my cp's or bouquets....but what you have written seems ok.

BM bo-ks seem a little high, so do the CP's, unless you're getting high ones.
Like the above post, depends on the flowers you're using too.

I also think telling us what flowers you used would be helpful. But the prices for your BoK and BM BoKs seem kinda high to me.

Seems a little high. My bouquet is going to be 175. Bridesmaids 60. Centerpieces 85. I am using roses and hydrangeas.

The prices seem a bit much. I assume the prices you listed are for each bouquet? What flowers were you looking to use?
One thing I did learn was to compare the prices you're quoted with that of your local florist. Certain catering restaurants/halls have contracts with florists. These florists they recommend may be doubling the prices. Both vendors are actually making money off of us brides and our grooms.

These seem really high to me - honestly!
Especially the bok's....
CP's - I got high ones with roses (three dozen) and lilles (two dozen) and am paying about $60-$75 for them.
I'd definitely get some more quotes from other vendors, unless of course you're set on using this florist.

hmm sounds high. I'm paying about $110 for my bouquet and $65 for BMs. But I don't know if Calla lilies are expensive..I'm not using them.

I honestly dont think those prices are high but for those prices you should be getting a lot of flowers and your centerpeices and bouquets should look VERY full. Are you only having callas - what otehr flowers.
My bouquet was $325 and the BM bouquets were at least $100. I had low centerpeices with roses and callas for $150.
In addition to the kind of flowers that you were given this quote for - how many of the flowers does it include?

Your quota is TOO HIGH!!!! I've shopped around and here is where the range of prices that I've gotten:
Brides Boq $200 Bridesmaid $85 Low centerpieces w/ vase $85-100 (hi ones will be more and candlehabras too) Altarpieces $150 Boutanaires $5 Mother's corsages $15-20
Using all roses, peonies, callas.
I can advice you to shop around and get written quotas. Take them with you for negotiating power. It works. And they will throw in extras (runner, petals, arrangement for your table, etc.....just ask ....all they can do is say NO)
I can recommend Flowers by Michele and Flowers by Brian. Those were the two that we were torn between.

Those prices are steep compared to what I was quoted.
I have not picked my flowers yet...but the below prices are assuming roses and will change accordingly if I change the flowers.
Bride's - $125 Bridemaids - $45 each Boutinniers - $12 each Centerpieces - starting at $50 each Gazebo floral decor - $300
I was amazed at these great prices.

It depends on the flowers youre gettijg, but honestly - that looks way too expensive! Mine were MUCH cheaper!! I went with National Floral and I will post pics of all flowers in a day or two. They were so beautiful people thought they were fake!
