Lots of folks on the boards also rave about Flower Michelle.

James said he can't do tall centerpieces with that budget - but maybe short ones.

FI wants tall so they are off the list.

You will- and as for the money issue, sometimes you have to cut your budget in many ways especially if you are paying yourself and buying a house at the same time

Heard from Jenn. It's a lot higher than I expected. Actually, nearly twice as much as LA Blossoms? I thought Jenn was a budget vendor?

Congratulations to you. This must be an exciting time for all. I hope that your planning process is going well. Thank you for considering Jenn Blossoms as your
wedding florist.

I am doing some research on the centerpieces with the spiral candle effect. I am just starting up my business and looking for a supplier for that particular prop.

My estimate for the flowers are about $4000.00. I didn't include the dais because I will not be able to supply that.

Please let me know if you interested.

Jennifer

Re: Help - Florists names & Pricing Needed

I emailed Jen to and she was almost double of what Trina from Floral expersions is charging me. Defenitly check out Trina she came in less than La Blossoms and I am getting more flowers for the money and her work is really nice she could send you some pics. If you want her info let me know.

Yeah, I got a quote from Trina. I have to find it but I think she came is close to LA Blossoms too. - found it - By my calculations Trina & Laurie are only $19 apart. I am confirming the numbers with both of them since I made some changes though.

Why is Jenn so high? I thought she was a budget vendor (and floral student?)

I don't know where you live, but I am using Flowers by Freyhammer, they are in Lynbrook (516) 599-0816.

I don't know if they will give a quote over the phone, but they are a family owned florist that has been there forever.

I think I got a pretty good price. I also got about 4 or 5 quotes from other florists.

I just got a revised quote from Trina and sent her a pic of the centerpiece we want.

This is it - now that I FIANLLY got the jpeg small enough.

May I suggest that you tell the florists exactly what kind of budget you are working with, what it is you desire and see what they can do to get you what you want within your budget. I think if you just list for them only what you want without telling them that you are willing only to spend so much, they are likely to give you higher quotes. Hope this helps!

You are absolutely right, I should tell them I want to stick at $1700. I did that with the vendor board and was told a few could not work with my numbers.

These are like what I want but purple roses and lillies.

I found a rental place that has the exact candelabra you sent me. I just realized when I gave you the quote it was for 4000 BUT it should be for 2000. It was a TYPO on my part. I really hope that it didn't scare you off. Plese keep in mind that it is an estimate and we can work out more details to work witin your budget.
