Help for a friend with reception halls!

I've tried searching for this, because I know it's been discussed in the past, but can't find anything.

A friend is looking for a reception hall, preferably in Suffolk which is about $80pp before tax and grat. They are going to have their ceremony on site too. Can you please remind me of all the great places on LI that fit this description. FH and I's friends just got engaged and are about to start looking at halls.

THANKS!

ChippaTriD and I are both having our reception at the Manor East. We both are getting the same package and are paying less or about that price. If you want more information, send me a forum.

You didn't mention day of the week or season or number of guest... this detail would help trim the list!

Some that jump out in my mind, (but may be more expensive then the budget for a Saturday night/peak season are):

North Ritz Club
Fox Hollow
Milleridge Cottage

Edited to say these are all in Eastern Nassau though.

Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury Country Club, Fox Hollow Country Club, Riveria in Massapequa, The Westbury Manor, etc. You can also do a search for catering halls on Long Island, it breaks down prices, waterviews, number of weddings at one time, etc. I think it's listed on this site and weddingchannel.com

Manor East (we got married there loved it)
Stewart Manor Country Club - (only one wedding at a time) I think it's a great place for a winter wedding. They have a beautiful fireplace.

Oops sorry! That would help! They want to have the wedding in November. I think that they would prefer Suffolk and most likely a Friday.

NYLISA said it best. Its a great place.
its not expensive and I've heard so many raves about it (from girls on here and from outsiders)

The food is fantastic, the place is really pretty and the service is superb.

If you have any questions feel free to FM me or Nylisa.

There website does it no justice. You have to see it in person

Anyone know the price range for East Wind? I hear that is a beautiful place.

Re: Help for a friend with reception halls!

East Wind is in that price range and is pretty and food is good too, but that is EASTERN (very eastern) Suffolk. Captial Bill's is very pretty in Bay Shore. Villa Lombardi, Watermill - - honestly Friday night you can probably get wherever you want in November (unless it's the day after Thanksgiving - then you're going to pay more).

There are so many in Suffolk : )

I would try the Meadow Club
Watermill
Captin Bill's
Three Village Inn (my hall )
Villa Lombardis (might be alittle over your price though)
Giorgios

Good luck!!!
